We’re now looking for a HR Consultant who loves variety, enjoys client work, and wants to make a genuine impact across multiple organisations.
The role
As a HR Consultant at Verve HR, you’ll work closely with a portfolio of clients, providing expert, pragmatic HR advice and support. No two days look the same — and that’s exactly how we like it.
You’ll be trusted to:
- Act as a key HR partner to client businesses across different sectors
- Provide advice on employee relations matters (performance, absence, disciplinaries, grievances, etc.)
- Support clients with HR projects such as restructures, TUPE, culture initiatives, and policy development
- Help clients stay compliant with employment law and best practice
- Build strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and credibility
- Deliver HR support that’s commercial, clear, and people-focused
About you
You’re confident, approachable, and know how to balance empathy with sound judgement.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Solid experience in a generalist HR role or HR consultancy environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset
