About Verve Homecare
At Verve Homecare, we believe in providing high-quality, person-centred care while fully supporting our staff. We work closely with families, nurses, and healthcare assistants to ensure consistency, safety, and the best possible outcomes. We are currently recruiting HCAs to support a complex care package based in Eastbourne. Please only apply if you live locally or can reliably travel to Eastbourne.
Shifts Available
- Day shifts may be worked as full days or split shifts to allow greater flexibility:
- Weekdays (Monday – Friday)
- Full day: 07:00 – 20:30
- Split shifts:
- AM: 07:00 – 12:00 or 09:00 – 12:00
- PM gap: 12:00 – 13:30
- Afternoon/Evening: 13:30 – 20:30
- Weekends
- Saturday: 14:00 – 22:00
- Sunday: 07:00 – 14:00
These shift patterns are ideal for staff who can work evenings and weekends, where cover is currently most needed.

What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting young people and adults with complex needs
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, working with individuals who are deaf and blind
- A strong desire to develop skills and confidence through training
- The ability to work collaboratively with nurses, HCAs, and families
- Good manual handling skills (training and support provided)
- A flexible, resilient, and adaptable approach to care
Full training and competency sign-off will be provided where required.
