About the Role: We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Complex Care Nurses to support clients with complex clinical needs within their own homes across Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and making a genuine difference in people’s lives. You will work closely with clients, families, Clinical Leads, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery. Our packages include a range of adult and paediatric complex care needs requiring advanced clinical interventions and ongoing monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and high-quality nursing care within community and homecare settings
- Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments and support person-centred care planning
- Administer and manage medications safely in line with NMC and company policies
- Provide complex clinical interventions including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation support
- PEG feeding
- Wound care
- Monitor and respond appropriately to changes in clients’ health conditions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic care records
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Support and guide Healthcare Assistants within the package
- Ensure safeguarding, infection control, and risk management procedures are followed at all times
- Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all clients
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Previous experience within Complex Care, Community Nursing, ICU, HDU, or Homecare
- Competency in complex clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical responsibilities confidently
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Experience working with adults or children with complex healthcare needs
- Tracheostomy and ventilator competency
- Experience with spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries
- Community or domiciliary care experience
- Experience mentoring or supporting care staff
