Working Location

This is a hybrid position in our London office with 3 days in the office (at Covent Garden).

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including posting various business/credit card payments/transactions and preparing/executing payments.
  • Provide accurate inputs for weekly cash planning and payment proposals for the designated entities.
  • Ensure account reconciliations are completed on time, and open items are cleared in a timely manner, especially during month‑end close.
  • Vendor verification and master data maintenance.
  • Responsible for intercompany transactions, invoices, posting, and preparing intercompany reconciliations at month‑end.
  • Ensure accurate accounting for fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, employee reimbursement approval and other journal postings.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings in accordance with IFRS & UK GAAP.
  • Support the preparation of local VAT and Corporation tax returns.
  • Provide assistance in internal and external audit processes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the group’s internal financial processes, reporting and control system.
  • Interact with other internal stakeholders in accounting matters as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting is mandatory.
  • Qualified or partly‑qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent certification is beneficial.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Accounting, with a focus on General Ledger.
  • Experience in processing intercompany transactions and reconciliations is highly appreciated.
  • Knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP is mandatory (preferably both).
  • Experience in MS Office is required, with a main focus on Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems is needed; Oracle NetSuite knowledge is appreciated.
  • Knowledge of VAT is required.
  • Flexibility to handle different accounting cases (non‑standard process actions).
  • Accurate, autonomous, and structured manner of work ethic.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
