Role Overview

The Customer Analytics Manager focuses on the health, performance, and efficiency of specific programmatic publishers and DSPs within Verve’s ecosystem. In this role, you will partner closely with Marketplace, Business Development, and Account Management teams to identify trends, uncover optimization opportunities, and drive stronger performance outcomes for our partners. This is a highly analytical and cross-functional role, requiring a strong understanding of programmatic advertising dynamics and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor the health and performance of assigned publishers and DSPs, providing actionable insights to account teams
    • Track key programmatic KPIs such as bid rate, win rate, eCPM, and overall revenue trends
    • Identify performance anomalies and proactively investigate root causes
  • Cross-Functional Reporting
    • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize customer performance trends and opportunities
    • Deliver ad-hoc analyses and data extracts to support Business Development and Account Management teams in client-facing conversations
    • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of reporting across stakeholders
  • Yield Support & Margin Maintenance
    • Analyze publisher and DSP combinations to ensure performance targets are met across business units
    • Identify segments where auction dynamics, pricing, or configurations may be impacting competitiveness or profitability
    • Measure and communicate the impact of optimizations, including floor price adjustments and targeting strategies

Technical Requirements

  • SQL Proficiency: Strong experience querying large-scale data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake
  • Data Visualization: Experience building dashboards and reports in tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • AdTech Foundations: Solid understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including OpenRTB, header bidding, and auction dynamics
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies, identify root causes, and clearly communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role within an SSP, DSP, agency, or ad network
  • 1+ years of experience in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing role
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Gemini, NotebookLM, Claude, or ChatGPT to improve workflows and efficiency
  • Familiarity with Python and notebook environments (e.g., Jupyter, Colab) is a plus
