Our team has worked with some amazing brands, including Dr. Martens, MUJI, COS, Stussy, Self-Portrait, Bremont, Mattel, The Frankie Shop, Toteme, Timex and more.

Overall purpose

We're looking for a Performance Team Lead to own client strategy, inspire a high-performing pod, and help shape the future of paid media at Vervaunt. This is a role for someone who thinks strategically, leads with care, and never stops looking for the next great idea.

Key responsibilities

  • Client centric: You'll own the strategic relationship with your clients — building 12-month roadmaps, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and proactively surfacing growth opportunities. You keep clients confident, informed, and excited about what's next.
  • Team centred: You'll take full ownership of your pod — running regular 1:1s, huddles, and reviews to keep the team supported, motivated, and growing. You spot skill gaps early, mentor juniors, and hold the bar high on quality and process across every account.
  • Commercially savvy: You understand the numbers that matter — from CAC and LTV to spend efficiency and pitch performance. You support ADs with forecasting, keep a close eye on pod performance, and contribute meaningfully to new business opportunities.
  • Driven by curiosity: You stay ahead of the industry — testing new ideas, championing platform innovations, and feeding fresh thinking into our roadmaps. You're energised by what's changing in paid media and you bring that energy back to your team and clients.
  • Personally invested: You care about more than just your accounts. You contribute to pitches, marketing initiatives, and agency culture — writing, speaking, and showing up for the wider team. You lead by example and take pride in what Vervaunt stands for.

What you bring to the role:

  • Combines strategic thinking with genuine leadership instinct
  • Has a proven experience running paid media campaigns at a strategic level, ideally within an agency environment
  • Demonstrates a track record of leading and developing team members, with a genuine interest in helping people grow
  • Shows strong client-facing skills — you're comfortable presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Has commercial awareness and a solid grasp of performance metrics like CAC, LTV, and ROAS
  • Evidences a curious, forward-thinking mindset — you follow industry developments and bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Maintains high standards for your own work and the work of those around you, with a collaborative, team-first attitude
