We are looking for a Marketing Manager (Content Lead) to join our agency marketing team and work on some of the coolest content and marketing in the eCommerce industry. We are Vervaunt, a paid media and eCommerce consultancy agency. We work with ambitious brands and retailers to help them achieve their eCommerce goals and solve their hardest challenges.
Our agency marketing team leads on the positioning and growth of the agency itself, through a range of campaigns and activities including events, conferences, content, webinars, awards and more. This is an exciting and inspiring new role within the team, and a good opportunity to establish yourself as a marketing leader within the eCommerce space.
- Support the Growth Director across marketing campaigns to drive new leads and increase brand awareness for the agency.
- Create content for social media accounts for the agency, primarily across LinkedIn and Instagram but also emerging channels.
- Create, write and proofread blog posts for the Vervaunt blog on various eCommerce and paid media topics.
- Support the wider team in the management of the website content and imagery, updating copy, testimonials, case studies, blog posts etc.
- Write and proofread copy across marketing collateral including social media, event material, website copy, email content, award entries etc.
- Create engaging and informative content in the form of video, imagery, PDFs and more, using InDesign, Photoshop and Canva.
- Support the Growth Director and growth team with marketing reporting to demonstrate success of marketing initiatives, and identify opportunities for future growth.
- Suggest new marketing ideas and campaigns to the wider team, and present marketing opportunities to the Growth Director and growth team.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends. Share insights during team discussions to enhance overall knowledge and strategy.
- Fully engage in training sessions to build your industry knowledge.
- Build your awareness of the agency process and follow this closely.
- Take an active role in your development, working with your managers to identify where you need training and support.
Core knowledge and skills:
- 2 - 3 minimum years of experience in marketing.
- Good understanding of wider eCommerce principles (CRM, user experience, internationalisation, payments, personalisation etc.) or a proven ability to research and comprehend new industries quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proofread efficiently.
- Strong copywriting skills and experience in writing blog posts and website content.
- Proficiency with key marketing tools, including CMS platforms, social scheduling tools, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides etc.), Google Analytics etc.
- Proficiency with design tools, including Canva, Photoshop and InDesign.
