They are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join their Mobile Plant Maintenance team. Based in Rotherham, this role involves providing maintenance and repair services for a diverse range of mobile plants and equipment across Rotherham and Sheffield. About the role: Perform MOT preparation, annual servicing, and breakdown repairs on-site vans. Maintain and repair HGVs, trailers, mobile cranes, forklifts, and specialized heavy industrial vehicles used in the steelmaking industry. Offer mechanical and basic electrical maintenance services, including fault-finding on mobile plant equipment. About You: Qualifications: You should be BTEC, NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance. Safety-Conscious: Strong understanding of safe working procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Skills: Methodical approach to work, excellent fault-finding abilities, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
