You'll be machining precision components in an aerospace environment, working to tight tolerances and established processes. The expectation is straightforward: read the drawing, set it correctly, and produce parts to standard.
What the role looks like day to day:
- You'll be working on 3-axis CNC turning / VTL machines, running jobs, carrying out inspection, and keeping output consistent across your shift.
- You may be running more than one machine where required.
What you will be doing:
- Operating and setting 3-axis CNC Turning / VTL machines
- Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Machining components to tight tolerances (±5 thou)
- Working with exotic materials and alloys
- Carrying out dimensional inspection using Verniers, micrometres and gauges
- Maintaining consistency and output across shifts
- Following strict quality standards including AS9100 and NADCAP
- Working to production targets and schedules
- Supporting continuous production during a busy period

- Strong CNC machining experience within turning or VTL
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances
