We re working with a growing electronics manufacturer in Dewsbury whose products are used worldwide across the utilities sector. They re expanding their repair team and looking to bring in two new people.
This could suit someone just starting out in their career, or someone with more experience in hands-on electronic repair. Either way, you ll be given full training on the company s processes and supported by a knowledgeable, friendly team.
It s a practical role where no two jobs are exactly the same. You ll carry out diagnostic testing, replace components, update firmware and make sure every unit that leaves the repair bench is safe, reliable and good to go.
What you ll be doing:
- Running tests on returned units to find the fault.
- Replacing damaged wiring, PCBs and electronic components.
- Updating firmware and software as needed.
- Testing the repaired product to confirm performance and safety.
- Logging the work carried out for quality and traceability.
- Working alongside engineers and production colleagues to share ideas and keep things moving.
Who we re looking for:
