Job Title: CNC Setter Operator Location: Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield) Salary: £27,885- £42,900 (Depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 3-shift rotation (Monday to Friday): 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am Verus Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in South Yorkshire, operating from their advanced manufacturing facility in Rotherham. This company provides services to OEMs across industries such as defense, security, construction, quarrying, recycling, and rail, with in-house capabilities including laser cutting, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, shot blasting, painting, and assembly. We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Setter Operator to join this dynamic team. Working within a skilled department, you will play a key role in producing critical precision components for a variety of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: Operate Vertical mill CNC machines to produce precision parts as per specifications. Set up and load materials onto the machine. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support further technical progression initiatives. About You: The ideal candidate will possess: Demonstrated experience as a CNC milling Setter, Operator, Machinist, or Programmer. Proficiency with precision measurement instruments. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work at all levels. A focus on quality, with the ability to promote and uphold high standards. Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. A commitment to excellent manufacturing practices.
