The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you'll work within a high-performing team to deliver precision-engineered components for critical industries. Operating on a rotating three-shift system (days, afternoons, and nights), you'll ensure all work meets the highest standards in quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines to meet production schedules.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Conducting quality checks and ensuring all work meets customer and company standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S principles.
- Operating multiple machines as required to optimise production.
- Proactively identifying and resolving any issues during machining processes.
- Following health and safety guidelines to ensure safe operation of equipment.
What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Apprentice trained.
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience with metals.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
