Verus Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-known regional accountancy firm seeking an Audit Senior for their Sheffield office. In this role, you\’ll support the firm\’s audit management team, supervise junior team members, and work on the audit lifecycle for a range of clients, including charities, OMBs, large limited companies, and subsidiaries of overseas groups. Responsibilities: Supporting the firm\’s audit management. Supervising junior team members by delegating and reviewing their work, coaching, and developing them. Planning, conducting fieldwork, and completing audit assignments, ensuring progress against budget. Preparing annual statutory financial accounts. Preparing and/or reviewing corporate tax computations and returns. Using CCH ProAudit for audit work and Digita for financial statements and corporation tax returns. Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements. About You: Newly or recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent).
