We are currently recruiting an experienced Java Developer to join the Rates eTrading team at a leading investment bank, working on a range of high-impact, business-facing projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with traders and quants to gather business requirements and contribute to the design and development of high-performance, pre-trade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with front-office stakeholders to design, develop, and enhance pre-trade applications.
- Deliver performant, reliable, and scalable trading solutions.
- Optimise system latency, throughput, and resilience.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience around RFQs and ION.
- Experience building high-performance trading applications for Rates, Fixed Income.
- Experience developing real-time, low-latency and high-throughput systems.
- Advanced knowledge of multithreading and concurrency.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
- Familiarity with market data, FIX protocol, KDB+, and time-series data.
- Strong front-office communication skills, with experience working directly with traders and quants.
