My financial services client is looking for a Platform Engineer to work across several cloud related projects where you'll be building the AWS foundations and API layer as part of a large strategic transformation programme. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment designing AWS platform components, developing API layers and maintaining infrastructure.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering AWS infrastructure in production environments
  • Proven track record building and running API platforms, not just individual endpoints
  • Python development capability for backend services, automation and integration
  • Solid understanding of containerised systems, Kubernetes and microservices design
  • Experience working in environments where security, audit and resilience are core requirements
  • Comfortable operating across teams and influencing standards, not just delivering tickets

Please note you will be required to work in their London based office 1 day p/w. This is an Inside IR35 contract going through an Umbrella company. Please note the rate quoted is the Umbrella rate.
