Network Engineer (Low Latency/High Frequency Trading)
One of our reputable financial services clients is looking to hire a Network Engineer to join a global team and play a pivotal role in several projects as well as key BAU tasks across different business areas.
The company is currently expanding into different markets, increasing the demand for networking expertise – a good sign for any engineer who wants to work for a successful, growing company.
Some of the upcoming projects include big, global initiatives around low-latency network design, cloud connectivity, data center migrations, and a company-wide strategic focus towards more network automation.
To be right for this role, you need to have the following:
- Strong Cisco experience (hardware, switching & routers).
- Any cloud experience is beneficial, as is previous experience in the financial services space.
- Previous experience with low latency/high frequency trading network design and support is a must.
The company will require this person to be in the office three days a week, with two days a week working from home. This is a 12-month initial contract with a possibility of extending. Please note that the rate quoted in the advert is the Umbrella rate.
