My client, an investment manager specialising in systematic trading, are expanding their Network team and therefore looking to hire an engineer with a passion for automation to take part in a number of small and large projects as they expand their datacentre. This is an opportunity to work within a small talented team of like-minded individuals where you'll either learn or showcase your automation skills and utilise coding to help increase efficiency of processes.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in optimizing network infrastructure and automation frameworks
- In-depth expertise in network systems and firewalls, including Fortigate, Arista, and Cisco
- Strong proficiency in Linux with a proven background in routing and switching
- Skilled in scripting with Python
- Experience in improving monitoring systems and implementing alerts to enhance network stability and availability
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation technologies like Ansible and Terraform is a plus
