The Role
My client is looking for an experienced AI engineer to help with the greenfield design and build of the next generation data foundations that power search, analytics and AI-driven applications across the business.
This is a hands-on role focused on designing robust data pipelines, improving data accessibility and creating scalable solutions that enable better use of information across a complex technology environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Building and maintaining data pipelines that ingest and process information from multiple sources.
- Developing scalable platforms to support analytics, search and emerging AI use cases.
- Designing data structures that improve the quality, accessibility and usability of enterprise information.
- Supporting search and discovery capabilities through effective indexing and data management practices.
- Implementing governance, lineage and quality controls across critical datasets.
- Working closely with engineering teams, architects and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
What You Bring
- Strong experience developing data engineering solutions using Python and SQL.
- Experience building and supporting production-grade data pipelines.
- Understanding of GCP, cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.
- Exposure to search technologies, information retrieval or data discovery solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata and data quality principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Enterprise knowledge base experience is a strong preference
