What You Will Be Doing:
- Design and build scalable frameworks used to test and validate trading strategies across asset classes
- Work closely with quant researchers to translate model ideas into robust, production-grade tooling
- Improve performance, stability and automation across the research and backtesting environment
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure systems are reliable and fit for scale
- Contribute to the evolution of the wider quant platform, including new tooling and greenfield components
What You Bring:
- Strong Java engineering background with experience building high-performance systems
- Solid understanding of system design, including distributed or cloud-based architectures
- Experience working in a quantitative, data-heavy, or trading-related environment
- Strong delivery track record, able to move quickly without compromising engineering quality
- Comfortable working across teams, translating loosely defined problems into working solutions
The Package:
£120k–£170k base plus discretionary bonus and full benefits. This role offers flexible working in London. The team is well-funded and continues to invest in tooling and platform build-out.
