The Role
A large financial institution is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join a specialist quantitative technology team responsible for business-critical market data and analytics platforms.
This is a hands-on development role focused on enhancing and supporting a real-time market data environment used across trading, risk and wider front-office functions.
You'll work on complex platform components, contribute to strategic technology initiatives and partner with quantitative and technology teams across the business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and enhance a large-scale market data publishing platform.
- Deliver robust, production-quality software across the full development lifecycle.
- Work closely with quantitative teams, trading stakeholders and technology partners.
- Build and maintain reusable components within a complex application framework.
- Contribute to platform modernisation and migration initiatives.
- Support the delivery of accurate and reliable data consumed across multiple business areas.
What You Bring
- Strong software engineering capability in C# or a comparable object-oriented language.
- Experience of development in a large quant library
- Exposure to quantitative development, market data platforms or analytics systems.
- Knowledge of at least one traded asset class such as rates, fixed income, FX or derivatives.
- Strong design skills with the ability to work across complex codebases and shared libraries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
