Our client is a global bank who is looking for an AVP-level Data Business Analyst to join their Markets Technology team in their Glasgow office. The team is responsible for the sourcing, transforming and distribution of various types of data (e.g. trade, market, pricing, reference data) to support the Front, Middle and Back Office to ensure the smooth flow of trades.
The role would involve covering all types of trades across the Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives trading desks, including the traders as well as downstream operations teams such as Middle Office and Settlements.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Good knowledge of Financial Markets products and trade lifecycles, ideally Derivatives but experience with Equities, Fixed Income or FX also desirable.
- Track record as a Business Analyst at another Financial Markets firm.
- Knowledge of SQL querying would be desirable but not essential.
The role would be based in their Central Glasgow office, with the team generally doing 2-3 days per week in office.
