We are partnering with a growing financial services organisation seeking a Data Engineer with some Business Analysis experience to join a growing technology and data function. This position offers a unique blend of analytics, reporting, automation and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys transforming data into meaningful business insight while driving operational efficiencies through technology.
The successful candidate will work closely with both business and technology teams to design reporting solutions, improve data visibility and automate manual processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop dashboards, reporting suites and management information using modern BI tools
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into data-driven solutions
- Extract, analyse and transform data from multiple sources to support decision making
- Build and maintain data models that provide accurate and reliable business insights
- Design workflow automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Support data quality, governance and reporting standards
- Investigate data issues and perform root cause analysis where required
- Contribute to ongoing improvements across reporting, analytics and automation capabilities
- Strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence or analytics-focused roles
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Hands-on Power BI development experience including data modelling and visualisation
- Experience with workflow automation technologies such as Power Platform
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience within financial services, professional services or similarly complex environments is highly advantageous

This is a Permanent role requiring mostly office attendance in London, however there is flexibility offered during the major school holiday periods.
