One of my clients, a reputable and successful Investment Bank, is looking to hire an Application Support Analyst to join a team that supports a number of cross-asset applications that provide critical information for traders across the Rates business. The applications you will be supporting are both bespoke built apps and connectivity applications which traders use to connect to multiple exchanges and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documenting any resolutions with the user as well as training them to reduce issues.
- Help with testing and business continuity processes.
- Support vendor applications (ION MarketView, Murex, Bloomberg).
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working as an Application Support team at another financial services firm within Fixed Income (ideally Rates).
- Previous experience supporting vendor platforms (ION, Murex, Bloomberg).
- Unix, SQL, FIX experience.
- Experience of technical support across a demanding user base in Fixed Income.
The company is operating a hybrid way of working. You will be expected to work in the office four days a week, with the option to work one day a week from home.
