A global, technology led quantitative investment manager is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join its core engineering group in London. The firm trades systematically across all major liquid asset classes and relies heavily on high quality software, data pipelines, and analytics to support research and trading at scale.
This role sits close to the investment process and focuses on building production grade tools used daily by quantitative researchers, analysts, and portfolio teams.
What You'll Be Working On
You'll help design, build, and maintain systems that provide real time and end-of-day insight into trading activity and strategy performance across the firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing end-to-end applications using C# on the backend and React on the frontend
- Building analytics, reporting, and visualisation tools consumed by hundreds of quantitative researchers
- Integrating data from multiple internal trading and research systems
- Designing scalable, maintainable services that operate in a high-throughput, low-latency environment
- Owning production workflows, monitoring, and ongoing system improvements
- Continuously evolving the platform to support new asset classes, strategies, and research requirements
- Applying a systematic, engineering-driven approach to problem solving in a complex domain
Essential skills:
- Strong C# development experience (backend services, APIs, data processing)
- Working knowledge of Python (used alongside C# in the research and analytics stack)
- Frontend experience with React, ideally including MUI, AG-Grid, and ECharts
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience working with production systems and shared codebases
