Overview
In this role you will oversee the workshop's flow, assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to keep operations smooth. Based at Vertu Mercedes Benz of Slough, you’ll plan incoming jobs and manage your team’s time and resources to maximise productivity and meet deadlines. The position offers a £40,000 base with an OTE of £50,000, and a strong focus on development and work‑life balance through Monday–Friday shifts. You’ll join a premium brand that prioritises colleague development and career progression.

Responsibilities
- Allocate tasks to Vehicle Technicians to optimise throughput
- Plan and prioritise incoming work
- Manage team time and resource allocation
- Monitor productivity and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate workshop activities to maintain smooth operations
- Support coaching and development of technicians as needed
Key requirements
- Experience as a Workshop Controller in a main dealership or Mercedes-Benz Qualified Technician
- Knowledge of workshop scheduling and resource planning
- Ability to lead and coordinate a technician team
