We're offering a basic salary of £40,000 with an OTE of £60,000, plus a company car and excellent benefits package.
About the RoleAs New & Used Car Sales Manager, you'll lead and develop a team of Sales Executives, driving performance across both new and used vehicle sales while ensuring exceptional customer experiences at every stage of the journey.
You'll be responsible for creating a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on leadership, helping your team achieve their targets whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer care and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales teamDriving new and used vehicle sales performance and profitabilityCoaching Sales Executives to maximise results and customer satisfactionManaging sales processes and customer interactionsMonitoring and improving departmental performance and KPIsMaximising opportunities across finance, insurance, and ancillary productsManaging sales campaigns and manufacturer initiativesCreating a positive, customer-focused sales cultureWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a proven automotive sales leader who can demonstrate: Previous Sales Manager experience within the motor retail industryA strong track record of increasing sales performance and profitabilityExcellent leadership and people management skillsExperience coaching and developing successful sales teamsStrong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindsetOutstanding communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to lead from the front and inspire othersA full UK driving licenceCompliance & ValuesAs a values-driven business, it is essential that our management team consistently demonstrate behaviours that deliver positive outcomes for our customers.
You will be expected to act in good faith at all times, setting the standard within your dealership and operating in a customer-centric environment where integrity is key. You will play a key role in driving a culture of responsible business practices, ensuring we deliver the right products and services to meet our customers' needs, protect them from harm, and encourage long-term loyalty.
Building trust and acting with integrity at all times is fundamental to this role. To protect our customers and our reputation, successful candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check, along with regular fit and proper person assessments.
