Join our team at Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline and become a valued Vehicle Technician. We are offering a basic salary between Β£29,200 - Β£36,440 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 42 hour working week and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity. There is no weekend working with this position.
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- MOT license preferred but not essential
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
