Vertu Honda Stockton is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience plus a range of company benefits.
You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

- Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
- Payroll
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Cash Flow
- Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
- Credit Control
- Experience as an Assistant Accountant; looking to take the next step up
- Working knowledge of Kerridge accounting system is ideal but not essential, as well as previous Motor Trade experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
