We have a great opportunity to join our Vertu Accident Repair Centre in Sunderland as a MET Technician. If you would like to work with one of the UK's largest and most successful motor retailers, with the most up to date equipment, latest technology and tools, then this is perfect for you.
This is a full time permanent role offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to £50,000. This is a 40 hour week working Monday to Friday, NO WEEKENDS and with an option to discuss a flexible working pattern!
As our MET Technician you will be carrying out a variety of duties which will include mechanical, electrical and trim replacement, as well as repair and refit work. You must adhere to manufacturer and insurance company standards at all times. You will be expected to ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated timeframe. Checking that all parts are ordered as per estimate is also a given, with the purpose of ensuring that the repair can be completed without delay.
In order to be successful you will have current experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment as a MET Technician. You must have a full UK Driving Licence and be able to handle all vehicles with due care and attention, ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times. You will ideally have an IMI Qualification.
