Vertu Motors BMW Prep Centre Sunderland is looking for an experienced Workshop Controller or Service Manager to join our team. We are expanding with a new purpose-built BMW & MINI preparation centre that delivers prepared “forecourt ready” vehicles to our Northeast sites. We offer an industry-leading package of up to £40,000 with an OTE of up to £45,000, a company vehicle, and an excellent range of Company Benefits.
The main duties of this role include:
- Implementing and maintaining effective processes to achieve the highest possible standards and service levels.
- Managing the throughput of prep vehicles for mechanical, cosmetic, and alloy wheel repairs, as well as valet and logistics, delivering a finished product in a timely fashion.
- Maximising the productivity of the team, which includes Technicians, cosmetic repairers, vehicle progressors, and valeters.
- Managing the team and maintaining adherence to the Vertu values.
- Ensuring that manufacturer and Vertu standards are adhered to at all times.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Coaching and measuring colleague performance.
