Vertu Peugeot Oxford is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our team. This role comes with a competitive basic salary of £30,000 plus on-target earnings of £36,000, with the ability to earn well above this level, and no previous experience is required! We provide full training and a comprehensive onboarding program to help you succeed and maximise your earnings from day one.
After 6 months, you can transfer to be a Sales Executive (should you wish to), taking your on-target earnings to £45,000+ plus a Company Car. In addition to delivering great earnings potential, we will also deliver true work-life balance. You will work a 40-hour work week (five 8 hour shifts per week), and will be in most Saturdays (our busiest sales day), with a guaranteed day off during the week. We are closed on Sundays so you can relax on this day every week without fail.
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll support customers through their entire car-buying journey, whether you’re arranging test drives, helping customers select the right finance, or guiding them through accessories. You’ll ensure every customer has a fantastic experience. Our team engages with customers online, in-store, on the phone, or by video, nationally as well as locally, therefore strong communication skills and being confident using technology are essential.
All we need from you is a full driving licence (manual and automatic) and an ability to demonstrate that you can provide great customer service. If you have worked within retail, hospitality, or any customer service or sales-led field, we want to hear from you!
We are proud to be the Motor Retailer who invests more in our colleagues' personal development than any other, so if you are successful, you can look forward to ongoing training opportunities that provide you with the right career path, career progression, and a range of benefits you would expect from an employer of choice, which includes:
- 25 days holiday rising with length of service - plus bank holidays
- Access to our online rewards platform giving you cash back and discounts for multiple retailers
- Preferential Service Rates
- Colleague Purchase Scheme
- Share Incentive Scheme
- Pension
- Enhanced Maternity and Paternity
If your application is successful, we will need to complete the usual employment checks prior to you starting with us. For this role, these can include verifying your recent employment, address, and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
