Overview
Vertu Ford Newcastle is hiring a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We offer a basic salary between £36,000 and £48,000 depending on skills and experience, plus a £1,000 sign-on bonus when you join us and a further £1,000 in month 13.
Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the high standards as set out in our Health and Safety policy, carrying out inspections, repairs and services and handling and storing parts. You will also be required to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
We welcome experience from both independent dealers and volume franchise dealers.
Qualifications and requirements
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- A full Driving Licence
- Your own full set of tools
You will need to have a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role. If your application is successful, we will complete employment checks prior to starting. These can include verification of recent employment, address and credit history, and may include criminal record checks and a driving licence check.
