Vertu Nissan Glasgow South is looking to recruit an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, enthusiastic person with a passion for cars. The successful applicant will have the amazing opportunity to develop their skills in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair work while working on fantastic cars.
You will be working in a Passenger Car workshop within a busy team environment, constantly representing the brand and its values by exceeding our customers' expectations and delivering an unparalleled level of service and quality.
What is the role of an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician?
You will be carrying out maintenance and repair work, visual inspections to customer vehicles. This will include completion of relevant documentation and working with System Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic and repair tasks.
What Qualifications do you need?
You must have a GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English and one other (Grade 4/C or above).
What training will you receive?
All of our apprentices undertake a Manufacturer accredited qualification up to a Level 3 in Automotive Repair. Our training is held at the relevant Manufacturer training centre and will involve blocks of 1 week's attendance per module, which will include overnight stays.
