We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Shared Services team at Team Valley Gateshead. Reporting into the HR Shared Service Manager, you will get involved with our new starter journey from candidate application to onboarding them ready for their first day with the business.
You will have a basic salary of £25,000 working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 17:30pm. This role is a great opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the shared service department which includes Recruitment, HR and Reward.
Daily Tasks will include:
- Answering internal and external telephone calls to the department
- Generation of employment contracts for both internal and external candidates
- Advise Recruiting Managers about ‘Prevention of Illegal Working’ and documentation surrounding this
- Processing of new starter information onto the various HR systems including payroll
- Controlling a DBS process for new starters
- Maintaining a number of 3rd party systems to support colleague access
- General photocopying, filing and administrative duties including mail merges, and reporting
We are looking for someone with strong admin experience and is confident in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. This is a very busy, high volume department, however training on systems and process will be given.
