An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Manager to join the successful team at Vertu MINI Bridgwater. At Vertu Motors, we invest heavily in our colleagues' futures and are proud to offer an industry-leading remuneration package, including a basic salary of £35,000, an OTE of £55,000, company car, and an excellent range of benefits.
The Role
As Business Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the sales operation and maximising performance across the department. You will be responsible for building and presenting customer proposals following qualification from the sales team, ensuring every experience is professional, compliant and customer-focused. A strong understanding of finance and insurance products and associated regulations is essential, allowing you to provide accurate information and uphold the highest compliance standards. You will actively support the delivery of the Group’s controlled ActiveSales process, helping to drive department performance and achieve agreed targets. This will include managing daily sales activity, engaging directly with customers through first- and second-facing interactions, and supporting sales colleagues to successfully sell new and used vehicles alongside a range of add-on products, including finance, paint protection, warranties and insurances.
About You
You will be an organised, resilient professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working under pressure. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills are essential, alongside excellent communication and the ability to use your own initiative. To be successful in this role, you will also have:
- Previous experience in a Business Manager or sales management role, from within the automotive industry
- A strong understanding of financial and insurance regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service
- The ability to manage customer interactions efficiently and effectively
- A full and valid UK driving licence
