Multi-Skilled Plumber
Permanent, Full Time
Salary up to £45,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Excellent Package
Ideal Engineer Location: Heathrow / Slough / Kingston
Coverage: Guildford, Croydon, Camberley, Slough, Horsham, Crawley, Chiswick, Putney, Reading, Oxford, Kingston, Cambridge, Sevenoaks, Richmond, Stevenage and surrounding areas.
We are working exclusively with a reputable, fast-growing and forward-thinking facilities management business with a strong company culture and ambitious plans for continued growth.
Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Plumber to join their mobile engineering team, supporting a portfolio of high-end commercial properties and premium office environments across the region.
This role would suit an experienced and professional engineer who is comfortable working in prestigious client environments and delivering a high standard of maintenance and customer service.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive plumbing and mechanical maintenance across high-end commercial sites.
- Complete fault finding, repairs and minor plumbing works.
- Support with general fabric and building maintenance where required.
- Work across premium commercial offices and other high-specification client environments.
- Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance to agreed service levels.
- Work independently across a mobile regional portfolio.
- Liaise professionally with clients, building managers and site teams.
- Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately.
The Person
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing or Mechanical qualification, or equivalent.
- Have strong experience carrying out planned and reactive plumbing / mechanical maintenance.
- Be multi-skilled and comfortable completing some general fabric, basic electrical works and building maintenance works.
- Have previous experience working across commercial properties.
- Ideally have experience working within high-end offices, corporate buildings or premium commercial environments.
- Be professional and confident dealing directly with clients.
- Be flexible with travel throughout the region.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be reliable, customer-focused and able to work independently.
The Package
- Salary up to £45,000 DOE.
- Company vehicle.
- Travel paid, excluding the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes of the working day.
- Monday to Friday.
- Callout rota – currently 1 week in 6, with plans to move towards 1 in 12.
- £200 standby payment for the callout week.
- Overtime rates apply when called out, with a minimum 4-hour payment.
- Overtime available.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
