Permanent, Full Time
Salary up to £45,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Excellent Package
Ideal Engineer Location: Epsom / Guildford / Slough
Coverage: Guildford, Croydon, Camberley, Slough, Horsham, Crawley, Chiswick, Putney, Reading, Oxford, Kingston, Cambridge, Sevenoaks, Richmond, Stevenage and surrounding areas.
We are working exclusively with a reputable, fast-growing and forward-thinking facilities management business with a strong company culture and ambitious plans for continued growth.
Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Electrician to join their mobile engineering team, supporting a portfolio of high-end commercial properties and premium office environments across the region.
This role would suit an experienced and professional engineer who is comfortable working in prestigious client environments, delivering high standards of maintenance and customer service.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across high-end commercial sites.
- Complete electrical fault finding, repairs, minor installations and remedial works.
- Support with light plumbing and general building maintenance where required.
- Work across premium commercial offices and other high-specification client environments.
- Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance to agreed service levels.
- Work independently across a mobile regional portfolio.
- Liaise professionally with clients, building managers and site teams.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately.
The Person
The successful candidate will:
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
- Hold the 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Have strong experience carrying out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Be multi-skilled and comfortable completing some light plumbing and general maintenance works.
- Have previous experience working across commercial properties.
- Ideally have experience working within high-end offices, corporate buildings or premium commercial environments.
- Be professional, presentable and confident dealing directly with clients.
- Be flexible with travel throughout the region.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be reliable, customer-focused and able to work independently.
The Package
- Salary up to £45,000 DOE.
- Company vehicle.
- Travel paid, excluding the first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes of the working day.
- Monday to Friday.
- Callout rota – currently 1 week in 6, with plans to move towards 1 in 12.
- £200 standby payment for the callout week.
- Overtime rates apply when called out
- Overtime available.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
