Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Project base: Newcastle-under-Lyme; travel to other sites as required.

We are working with a reputable and growing mechanical and electrical contractor delivering building services packages on construction projects.
Due to continued growth, they are recruiting into their projects team. This senior role leads mechanical building services delivery on a new-build residential scheme, working alongside the electrical site manager.
The Role:
- Lead mechanical building services projects from pre-construction handover through practical completion and final account.
- Plan and manage programmes, project resources, subcontractors and the supply chain.
- Review drawings, technical specifications, contracts and project requirements.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, resolve site issues and protect milestones and budgets.
- Coordinate procurement, plant, materials, project variations and cost control with commercial teams.
- Chair or attend client, consultant and site progress meetings and maintain effective communication.
- Oversee quality inspections, RAMS, Health & Safety standards, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Maintain project records and support the development of engineers and supervisors.
The Person:
- NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Building Services or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing mechanical building-services projects within construction.
- Strong mechanical technical knowledge and commercial/project-delivery awareness.
- SMSTS qualification and CSCS Management Card.
- Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour, procurement, budgets and programmes.
- Strong client communication, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable attending sites as required and holding a full UK driving licence.

- Salary £61,000–£71,000 DOE inc company car allowance
- £6,000 car allowance (inc in salary above)
- Permanent, full-time position.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
