We are working with a national FM contractor who are reputable, fast growing and a forward thinking business. They have a fantastic company culture, are always looking to improve and develop and have big ambitions to continue expanding with the right team on board. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team:
The Role:
- Undertaking multiple system type servicing processes on various systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice.
- The ability to work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
- Ability to communicate fluently with fellow team members in their region in respects to client urgency escalations in regard to key systems faults.
- Ability to calmly deal with pressure and hit deadline targets.
- NSI gold standard experience.
- Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time.
- Undertake any relevant training as required.
- Must be able to understand H&S Risk Assessments.
- Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with and enforced.
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of yourself and the team in accordance with Company policy.
- Completion of the relevant e-documentation, paperwork and where required to be submitted on time.
- To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
- CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder, Emergency Lighting, and the possibility of Fire extinguishers for BAFE trained engineers.
The Person:
- You will have some levels of experience in the fire and security industry, however the business are open to candidates with 1 up to 20+ years as training is ongoing.
- Fire knowledge is essential – access and security training can be provided.
- This role will largely be carrying out PPM's which you will ideally have experience in.
- You will be happy in a mobile role.
- Have some certificates in Fire - FIA.
- You will have a fantastic attitude to work, be personable and ambitious.
- Some early starts and stopping away may be required.
The Package:
- Salary of £30,005.
- Permanent full time.
- Company car or van.
- 33 days annual leave.
- Working hours Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week.
- Travel paid except for the 1st and last 30 minutes of the day.
- No Callout.
