Refrigeration Engineer

North Wales / North West & Surrounding Areas
Permanent, Full Time
Salary Β£43,996 including standby fee + Company Vehicle + Door-to-Door Travel and Excellent Package

We are working with a large, national facilities management contractor with an excellent industry reputation, stable long-term contracts and a strong track record of looking after and developing their engineers.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Refrigeration Engineer based around North Wales /North West or the surrounding areas to work across a mobile retail portfolio.

The Role

  • Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing and repairs across commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose faults and complete remedial works where required.
  • Work across a mobile retail portfolio throughout the North Wales /North West and surrounding
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Provide a professional service to clients and site teams.
  • Complete relevant job reports and documentation accurately.

The Person

  • Previous experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Strong fault-finding, service and repair experience.
  • Ideally hold a relevant refrigeration qualification / NVQ.
  • Current F-Gas qualification.
  • Hydrocarbon experience would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable working in a mobile role with occasional further travel when required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Professional, reliable and able to work independently.

Package

  • Salary Β£43,996 including standby fee.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Travel paid door to door.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Callout rota – 1 week in 4.
  • 33 days annual leave.
