Mobile Engineer

Salary £37,730 Plus Vehicle, Travel Paid and Excellent Package
We are working directly with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who specialise in providing all round building maintenance services to clients within the commercial sector.
Due to expansion we are looking to recruit a mobile maintenance engineer to work on commercial sites and to look after all site building maintenance and deliver planned and reactive maintenance.
This role is multi skilled covering all round maintenance.
Role:
- You will be mobile working on commercial buildings.
- Carrying out a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance works.
- PPM and reactive maintenance works.
- You will ensure that the site is statutorily compliant and accurate records are kept up to date, as well as maintaining a high standard of work by following safe working practices.
- You’ll be supporting your own dedicated sites as our client’s first point of call for PPM and reactive M&E and other general building services maintenance. Tasks could include emergency light testing, fire alarms, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
- You’ll enjoy working autonomously, where you will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work. Ideally, you will have the ability to confidently carry out a range of other mechanical tasks as well
- This role is working on a shift pattern of 5 days on 2 days off so will include some weekends as part of your week.
Person:
- Facilities maintenance experience
- You must hold 17th or 18th edition
- "On the job" experience working in a maintenance role
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Awareness and knowledge of health & safety
Package:
Base salary £37,730
Permanent full time 40 hours per week
- Working hours 7am - 4pm
- Working 5 on 2 off
