We are working with a national FM contractor who are reputable, fast growing and a forward thinking business. They have a fantastic company culture, are always looking to improve and develop and have big ambitions to continue expanding with the right team on board.

Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Plumbing and Drainage Engineer to join the team:

The Role:

  • To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Where necessary to procure essential parts and materials and to consult with the Store Manager to affect the repair and minimise disruption in the store.
  • Foul Drainage and Grease PPM – locate all internal drains and check water flow, clearing any debris and grease trapped in the system.
  • Surface Water PPM’s – clearing and jetting all downpipes and gulleys at store, in the car park and delivery yard.
  • Roof PPM’s – conduct the cleaning and debris removal from all gutters, drainpipes, and gulleys internally and externally.

Qualifications / Experience Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating systems/Drainage or an equivalent qualification.
  • Alternatively, a time-served apprenticeship with the appropriate City and Guilds qualification in Plumbing or Drainage is also accepted.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Working in confined spaces
  • Water Jetting

The Person:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating systems/Drainage or an equivalent qualification.
  • You will be happy in a mobile role, travelling within the regions above.
  • You will have a fantastic attitude to work, be personable and ambitious.

The Package:

  • Salary of £34,418
  • 1 in 4 Call Out
  • Permanent full time Van
  • 33 days annual leave
  • Working hours Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
  • Travel paid except for the 1st and last 30 minutes of the day
