We are working with a growing and highly reputable facilities management contractor who are looking to recruit a Static Engineer to join their team on a key site in Kings Langley. This is a great opportunity for an experienced all-round maintenance engineer who is looking for a stable, permanent role with a business that looks after its staff, offers long-term progression and has established contracts nationwide.

The role will suit a multi-skilled engineer with experience across general building services maintenance. Candidates could be electrically biased, mechanically biased, or a strong fabric engineer with good all-round maintenance ability.

The Role

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
  • Completing general building maintenance and fabric repair works
  • Supporting basic mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out site checks, plant checks and routine inspections
  • Completing minor repairs, fault finding and first-line maintenance
  • Managing permits for visiting engineers and subcontractors
  • Liaising with the client and site teams on maintenance works
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Keeping accurate records of works completed

The Person

The successful candidate will be an experienced all-round maintenance engineer with a strong background in building services or facilities maintenance. You may come from an electrical, mechanical or fabric background, but must be comfortable carrying out a varied site maintenance role.

Requirements

  • Experience in a static or mobile building maintenance role
  • Strong all-round maintenance skills
  • Mechanical, electrical or fabric maintenance background considered
  • If electrically biased, you must hold your 18th Edition and/or Level 3 electrical qualification
  • Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance
  • Experience working on commercial sites
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Professional, reliable and able to work independently

Package

  • Salary of £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
