We are working with a highly reputable and well-known facilities management contractor who provides all-round building maintenance services to clients throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are currently looking to recruit an Electrician. You will be working in various commercial premises including retail.
Role:
- To undertake electrical installation and some minor maintenance works alongside the electrical team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience post-apprenticeship, in-depth knowledge of all electrical installation works, good computer literacy, and the ability to use industry software for completing reports.
- Always representing the company in a professional and competent manner and developing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Delivery of electrical installation and maintenance works on site in compliance with the agreed project specification and within agreed timescales.
- Liaison with the Project Manager at all times striving to ensure that project works are delivered on time, snag-free and to the agreed specification.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, HSE management systems, procedures, or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all colleagues and sub-contractors follow safe systems of work on site.
- Striving to achieve snag-free completion and where snagging occurs to ensure it is resolved within 6 working days.
- Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect project delivery.
- Ensuring company vehicle is kept clean, well maintained, and serviced as required.
- Comply with any other reasonable management instruction.
Person:
- You will be qualified electrically and must hold Electrical Level 3 or equivalent and 18th edition.
- You will have electrical installation experience on commercial sites.
- You will live in the region and be happy with travel throughout the region and further when needed - some overnight stays may be required.
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- Good IT skills.
Package:
- Base salary of £37,000 - £40,200 (dependent on approval).
- Vehicle.
- Travel paid door to door.
- Monday - Friday, 42 hours per week.
- 33 days annual leave.
