We are working with a national FM contractor who are reputable, fast growing and a forward thinking business. They have a fantastic company culture, are always looking to improve and develop and have big ambitions to continue expanding with the right team on board.
Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Joiner to join the team:
The Role:
- Undertake a second line fix of mostly external fabric works – fascia, fencing, groundworks etc, repairs, maintenance and installation within agreed timescales whilst complying with company policy and procedure.
- Works such as ground repairs, wall repairs, fencing repairs, general fabric repairs all to an agreed quantified scope.
- Undertake a more enhanced skillset of planned and reactive maintenance works in accordance with contractual KPI’s.
- Ensure works completed within agreed scope are of a high standard.
- Scope further works and report back to Small Works Manager.
- Drive efficiency through first time fix repair.
- Order materials and manage budget spends.
- Maintain accurate time sheets and mileage logs as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all direct reports are adequately trained and follow safe systems of work.
- Attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
The Person:
- NVQ Level 3 in any form of building works, i.e. Joinery, Civils or building (or equivalent).
- Experience in external commercial works – plumbing, fascia, fencing, etc.
- CSCS Skill card (Joiner).
- Experience of undertaking plumbing/drainage works and PAT testing.
- SPA, IPAF & PASMA.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
- Full/clean driving licence.
The Package:
- Salary of £33,262 inc Standby Fee.
- Permanent full time.
- Company van.
- 33 days annual leave.
- Working hours Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week.
- Travel paid door to door.
