Our client is a highly reputable and growing nationwide facilities management contractor providing building maintenance services to several well-known high-street retailers.
Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Roofer to join their mobile maintenance division.

The Role
You will provide planned and reactive roofing maintenance services across a portfolio of retail properties.
You will ensure all repairs and improvement works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include
- Carrying out reactive roofing maintenance and repairs.
- Inspecting roofing defects and assessing the work required.
- Completing repairs safely and within agreed client response times.
- Prioritising workloads to meet service-level agreements and deadlines.
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues where required.
- Communicating effectively with customers, managers and office-based teams.
- Completing job updates and supporting documentation electronically.
- Travelling throughout the contract area, including regular longer-distance travel.
- The Candidate
The successful candidate will
- Be an experienced roofer with a proven maintenance background.
- Must hold NVQ/SVQ in roofing occupations or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally have experience working on commercial or retail properties.
- Be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for jobs on site.
- Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Be confident using tablets and mobile technology to update and complete job records.
- Be flexible regarding working hours and travel due to the requirements of the contract.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Ideally hold relevant health and safety qualifications such as CSCS, SPA, IPAF or PASMA.
- Experience in other areas of building maintenance would be beneficial but is not essential.
