Vertpaint Studios is one of the fastest growing game studios in the UK, working on AAA blockbuster titles alongside the development of our own internal IP. We are heavily invested in building proprietary technology, with millions committed to advancing our tools, pipelines, and creative capabilities.
We are looking for a talented Senior Gameplay Animator with a strong focus on realism to join our growing team. You will work closely with designers, programmers, and artists to create high quality, believable animations that support immersive gameplay experiences. Experience working with player weapons and first person animations is highly desirable. Unreal Maya + Unreal Engine 5 experience is preferred.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Senior Gameplay Animator on realism driven games
- Strong understanding of animation principles, weight, timing, and physicality
- Experience creating first person and player weapon animations
- Experience working in Unreal Engine, UE5 preferred
- Ability to collaborate closely with design and engineering teams
- Clear communication and strong attention to detail
- High quality work examples or reels are a priority
