My client provides asset protection and management solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. We are looking for a Finance Controller to join our growing finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and fixed assets
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support financial analysis and forecasting
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Help implement and maintain financial controls
- Support cash management and banking activities
What we are looking for:
Essential
- 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience
- 2+ years in a service-based industry (professional services, consulting, financial services, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, AAT) or working towards one
- Experience with cloud-based accounting systems
