My client provides asset protection and management solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. We're looking for a Finance Controller to join our growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports
  • Manage general ledger, journal entries, and month-end closing
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and fixed assets
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Support financial analysis and forecasting
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Help implement and maintain financial controls
  • Support cash management and banking activities

What we’re looking for;

Essential

  • 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience
  • 2+ years in a service-based industry (professional services, consulting, financial services, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills

Desirable

  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, AAT) or working towards one
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems
  • Basic supervisory or team experience
