We are currently seeking reliable and practical individuals to join a growing network of Regional Asset Auditors delivering asset verification and inventory auditing services across the UK. This is a self-employed, field-based opportunity offering complete flexibility around your availability. Assignments are offered on an ad-hoc basis, making the role particularly well suited to semi-retired professionals, retired tradespeople, former military personnel, logistics professionals, engineers, site managers, facilities professionals, and anyone who enjoys practical work without the constraints of a traditional full-time role.

The work involves visiting client sites, locating and verifying physical assets, applying barcode tags, recording information using handheld technology, and submitting accurate audit data. No sales responsibilities. No targets. No office politics. Just straightforward, professional work completed to a high standard.

About the Role

You will visit a variety of commercial and industrial locations including:

  • Warehouses
  • Distribution centres
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Construction compounds
  • Depots
  • Commercial estates
  • Operational sites

Working independently, you will physically locate assets, verify information, apply barcode labels where required, and capture data using handheld scanning equipment. All systems, processes, software, and project instructions are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to client sites within your region.
  • Conduct physical asset verification and auditing activities.
  • Locate, identify, count, and record equipment and fixed assets.
  • Apply barcode tags to assets where required.
  • Capture asset information using handheld devices and digital systems.
  • Complete stock and equipment counts accurately.
  • Maintain professional standards while representing the business on client sites.
  • Submit completed audit information promptly and accurately.
